I dig how this looks overall. It has a specific theme and edge differentiating itself from the usual, going through the motions fare. I'll be watching.

The first African American police commissioner was appointed in 1984, and this show is supposed to be early 40s?

Indeed. They're going hard on black American Gordon. The Lego movie, The Batman and now this.

Yeah, not sure if you guys noticed, but Harley is also swapped to an Asian chick.

I dunno, I'm not a big fan when they do this, and it looks like they're going out of their way with this show, but whatever, it is what it is. I remember being very vocal about Nolan race swapping Ra's and Bane in his trilogy for some white guys, but again....whatever. If it feels forced, I'll call it out. At least in Nolan's trilogy it felt natural. Same with Matt Reeves' Gordon(who I think is my favorite live action version). So we'll just have to see, but it does feel out of place for the time period. That is something to think about. So we'll see.

But overall, I'm pretty stoked for this show. And it's only a few months away.

I would say the majority of the cast look the part, so I'm good on that, but again, that suit looks pretty bad. Granted, I'm willing to see what it looks like in motion, and I can easily change my mind if it happens to look better, but yeah, not a good first look.

Oh well, we'll just have to wait for more in the coming year or so.

Looks like those pics that I posted a few months back were real. It's announced that it'll release on Amazon Prime on Aug 1st. Here's some official pics that they released with the announcement. I love the classic Bob Kane-ish style Batman. But we have Batman, Gordon, Harley Quinn(and Harley Quinnzelle), Catwoman, Clayface, and a shot of Bruce and Selina.

Man, I've been trying to be positive about this new cinematic reboot, but man, I really hate this suit reveal. It's too baggy with lots of padding. It just looks incredibly cheap.

Well, it looks like the sequel is delayed to October 20-friggin-26.

I rewatched it again for the first time in about a year, and I still love this movie.

I still think it's my favorite live action Batman. Joker is probably my favorite live action CBM, and this is my favorite Batman.

I don't know if these are real or not, but they're floating around twitter right now. If real, I'm a bit mixed, but I don't flat out hate it either. What do you guys think?

Stating; 'JOKER: FOLIE À DEUX' "isn't a musical per se, it just has music in it." "The music is part of the film and the characters but I don't know if it's a musical. But yes, there is music."

That's good news for me. I'm still skeptical of the "musical" angle, but I love the first movie so much, I'm still pumped for this.

Apparently, the game story isn't complete--"chapter" expansions later this year continue it, and data miners have noted that the JL are still in the portions yet to come, including Bruce.

It's apparently a fakeout death. A hallucination, clones or whatever. Everybody getting worked up based on hearsay.

I mean, I wouldn't claim "hearsay". You can see the video above of the cinematic clip from the game. I get that the story isn't completely told, as things could reverse in future chapters, but still, people are commenting on what we have now.

Isn't Guy Gardner supposed to be in the film? Let's see if they manage to cast an actual redhead in the movie.

Yeah, I think it's Superman, Lois, Jimmy Olsen, Lex Luthor, Guy Gardner, Supergirl, The Engineer, Metamorpho, Hawkgirl, Mister Terrific....and I think that's it. lol
