Affleck....Batman no more

 

After much speculation, considerations and numerous "Is he still Batman?" ..."Has he hung up his cowl?"... the answer is finally here. In a tweet yesterday, Ben Affleck said he's looking forward to director Matt Reeves vision of Batman, while adding a link to Deadline. basically stating that he is no longer the DCEU's/ Worlds of DC's Batman.

Warner Bros. is set to releade Reeves Batman film on June 25th, 2021. Rumours have long suggested that Reeves wanted to go with a younger Batman for the role, either for a fresh reboot or looking at Batman from a pre-DCEU stage.

Reeves in a recent interview revealed that we will see some of Batman's top villains in the rogues gallery. The story is still not revealed in its full detail nor the actors named who could possibly replace Affleck as DC Films moves forward. Affleck portrayed Batman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Suicide Squad and Justice League.
