Very nice, ral.  Great to hear how he got the role, what he improvised, and Nicholson's nickname for him.

One question I have that you may have found out- was his voice was digitally altered to provide that low voice?  Or was that actually his voice?
That awkward moment when you remember the only Batman who's never killed is George Clooney...

Great interview. Good job.

Actually I think Percy was Nicholson's nickname for something else... ;)

I did mean to ask him if he was dubbed at all, but I forgot.  :(

^ Ha, just reread it and now I get it...

Got in contact again, and got an answer - updated the interview.  ;D

For those curious, here is Hugo Blick doing that "Eastwood impression":

He is the GI who appears to Joanna Lumley.

I think the voice would have to have been modulated for the final cut of the film.  He probably did use the voice in that clip during filming, but, obviously, his voice in Sensitive Skin sounds different from the one in the Batman film.

It is also interesting that someone compared him to Richard Widmark:

I thought that he did a damn fine impression of James Earl Jones, as well (he had that Lord Vader vibe to him).
