I thought the last episode was okay, but I there were some editing, scene transition issues that bogged it down. LITTLE SPOILER: I didn't care for the revelation that Jake Lockley came in as a mid-credit scene. The should've come in as the last scene of the finale.

Moon Knight was watchable thanks to Oscar Isaac and Ethan Hawke. They carried the show. The whole series was solid, and I thought the exploration of the two personalities in Steven and Marc in the penultimate episode was done very well, but the show definitely could've been better in other aspects. It was perhaps a little too experimental and even too psychological if you were hoping for more costume action. And yes, some of the eye-rolling MCU cheese is there, though not quite as bad in other movies and shows. But it still caused some tonal problems, which has become an issue the MCU has had for years.

I believe Isaac will return at some point in the future. Rumour has it he will team up with Mahershala Ali's Blade in Midnight Suns.

One more bit of observation about a moment in the finale: Moon Knight flying across Egypt in the shape of a crescent moon reminded me of his Mooncopter in the comics.
QuoteJonathan Nolan: He [Batman] has this one rule, as the Joker says in The Dark Knight. But he does wind up breaking it. Does he break it in the third film?

Christopher Nolan: He breaks it in...

Jonathan Nolan: ...the first two.
