I've also seen rumours about the Clayface spin-off being cancelled. I think Joker's right about it all hinging on Gunn's Superman. If that movie and the new DCU in general prove successful then I reckon WB will scrap every DC adaptation not connected to it. If however Gunn's DCU fails, then I predict WB will realise superhero fatigue is real and cancel all their shared universe plans. Then they might keep the Reevesverse going as a standalone series, similar to the old Batman movies of the Burton, Schumacher and Nolan eras.

Several sites are reporting that Matt Reeves is no longer directing The Batman II. According to Production Weekly, WB is aiming to shoot the film in London in March 2026 for an October 2027 release date, but currently no director is attached: https://www.worldofreel.com/blog/2025/5/7/the-batman-part-ii-eyes-march-2006-shoot-no-director-attached

In a year or so, we'll probably hear that TB2 has been shelved. The only Batman running around will probably be Gunn's. I have no idea if that's good or bad. But that's my guess.
