FLASHBACK 1997:

Wizard Magazine reports on the progress of "Superman Lives", and STAS, along with other news bits (including some on B&R). The thing that really stands out to me is seeing Jack Nicholson's name being brought up as a possibility for Lex Luthor. I remember this well, as I had this particular issue of Wizard, but I don't recall his name ever being brought up again in relation to Lex Luthor. Given that Burton had just worked with Nicholson on "Mars Attacks!", the idea isn't completely without merit. Could've been just pure speculation, or Nicholson (or even Burton himself) squashed this notion very early on?
