James Gunn is a shady creep who shouldn't be in charge of DC Studios

I realise Hollywood is a place full of sin, but I still can't believe Gunn is now given a co-head role at DC Studios. I guess this is what happens when too many people dismiss such horrendous comments as "edgy jokes", even though there are warning signs of him "joking" with friends who are either convicted pedophiles or accused as such.

The first link I read mentions how Gunn requested to have his old website removed from the Wayback Machine on Archive.org. Looking at Gunn's history, he tries to clean up his image by condemning predatory behaviours during the Weinstein scandal and even mentioned how he was shunned from speaking about kids getting abused by priests while growing up. This was a year before the controversy that initially got him fired by Disney.

I'm led to believe this man is being sincere? Sorry, I call bullsh*t. Actions speak louder than words.

A lot has been said over the last few days about the future of DC films and where things might be going. Honestly, despite expressing my disbelief at the prospect of seeing everything getting rebooted while money is still going down the drain with reshoots and additional photography, I don't think I care anymore. Gunn could announce restoring the Snyderverse or Keaton's Batman Beyond, I still wouldn't be as enthused as I otherwise would've been if he weren't in charge.

As much as I would like to see some of my favourite DC actors again, there are far more important issues than movies. I don't know for sure if Gunn is a pedophile or not. For all I know, he might be another enabler, like every single person he condemns in his Facebook post. But I personally don't feel comfortable watching something produced by his studio company, knowing about his very dubious background. If the Ezra Miller stuff this year wasn't already bad enough, this has definitely deterred me.

Today, Gunn went on Twitter to lament about the "uproarious and unkind" response from a supposed "minority" reacting to the DCU reboot and justified himself by saying he and Safran "are doing everything that's best for DC". Here's why he has no right to talk:

1) He argues and even insults people online, such as this comment by a YouTuber who claimed Gunn didn't like Cavill. This was days before Cavill was humiliated and was basically fired: https://twitter.com/JamesGunn/status/1601635899925676032

2) He's got some nerve to talk about doing what's best for DC, when as a co-CEO he gave himself the job to write a Superman film.  If that conflict of interest isn't bad enough, don't be surprised when he keeps his Peacemaker and Suicide Squad characters (including his wife who plays Harcourt) in the reboot.

3) His jab about the "minority" is quite insulting toward everyone who was delighted to see Cavill return, whether they're Snyderverse fans or simply Cavill fans. It's arrogant beyond belief.

Afterwards, Ray Fisher expressed how unimpressed he was with Gunn, accusing him of using fake grace on Twitter, and more or less accusing Gunn of being two-faced once he got the DC job.

Now, I should mention that Gunn did reply and defended himself, claiming he auto-deletes every tweet of his every few months and it had nothing to do with comments to Ray. But seeing as he deleted who knows how many vile tweet he made when he was exposed four years ago, I doubt his sincerity, and I get the impression he still has something to hide.

If the rumours of people within WBD having doubts about his Gunn's capability are true, then I hope he gets the boot sooner rather than later, before he does any more damage.

I found a video analysing a sleazy reality TV show that was hosted by Gunn that was filmed in 2008, where he exploited and humiliated desperate actresses hoping to be cast for a role in a Saw film. The f***er actually pressured some of these actresses to make them do uncomfortable things such as sharing an erotic kiss with each other, and he kicked one of them out of the show for not complying.

And this is the guy now in charge of DC Studios. Despicable. It's totally on point for somebody who wrote this about Batwoman for his own amusement:

As much as I condemn Gunn for the creep that he is, it's really a damning indictment on the entire entertainment industry where it mistreats people, allows such trash TV to be produced in the first place, and how it encourages people like Gunn to have his behaviour overlooked.

Last time I checked, Superman puts pedos behind bars. Not be friends with them, or write about child molestation and rape for a depraved laugh and throw pedo-themed parties.

Gunn is repulsive.

Here's yet more evidence of James Gunn being a sick freak - he wrote this book in 2000 called The Toy Collector. This is about a drug addict named after himself. The stuff that's written in the page below is disgusting:

This is supposed to be funny? How the hell did this get published in the first place I will never understand.

If you're going to name a character after you, why the f*** would you do it for a character who is depraved beyond belief? To me, it seems Gunn is expressing his real thoughts either in the vein of fiction or the excuse that he has a sick "sense of humour". If there wasn't a pattern of behaviour we've seen over the years, I could honestly give him the benefit of the doubt. But somebody who does this repeatedly throughout adulthood will never change, and the losers who defend him wouldn't dare to think twice and condemn somebody else if they were an average nobody. Unless they're degenerates too.

There were screenshots of Gunn making racist remarks multiple times in the book, which makes his detractors believe he's a bigot. After the alarming track record of this man, anything is possible.

At the time of writing this post, Gunn's response to Fisher is still online.

Yet again, what a liar. Anyone who claims to be a fan of Superman or superheroes but looks up to this creep has no credibility whatsoever.
