Misc. Burton / Re: Burton Trilogy

i don't think billy dee williams ever had the kind of star power to be considered as a possibility for a major villain in a summer blockbuster - i doubt burton would have used him had he been in charge of batman forever

i love batman returns but it will always bother me how it's all filmed inside a refrigerated burbank studio - is there one scene filmed outdoors? - i think maybe just that one overhead shot of selena's car

would've been great to have the 1st 3 all at pinewood with burton and keaton

i could see carrey opposite keaton working - can't see billy dee working as 2 face though for some reason

Are you for real??? Whats the average age of this forum? 12?

The bag obviously was activated by the impact when his body hit the pavement!

yes i'm for real - i totally have the truth on what some fictional character in a movie was doing and thinking as he fell off of a cathedral

if people die on the way down during a plunge then how does bungee jumping exists?

joker was alert, activating his laugh thing, and pondering which goon to promote now that bob was out of the picture

i don't think that's a sega image - which game is that?

what i love about the joker's fall is how he slips from one rung on the ladder to the one below it - great shot of his hand going from one to the next

$25 was a bargain for vhs tapes in 1989/90 - early on most new releases ran around $89.99 if you wanted to own your own copy of sometihng - then they started selling certain titles at around $19.99 - i think pretty woman was one of those early bargains - so $24.99 was a steal at the time

i think i have 3 copies of bat 89 on vhs and i remember my 1st ever copy had sort of an imperfection down the right center of the screen - like a very slight slinky sort of impression in the tape - and no it did not come from watching it 10,000 times! - factory flaw i believe

i like johnny depp but come on - he does his keith richards routine in a kiddie pirate movie that makes a jillion dollars and all of a sudden he's some genius acting talent?

who else was actually up for batman though? - i actually heard roddy piper auditioned - and thank you though tim burton for not having a wayans brother play robin - glad that fell through

maybe put a non wayans brother robin in the next film and have him killed off - good way to add weight to the next one - always loved the death in the family image from the comics
