looks more like a muhammad ali pose - should have had the stiffer straighter battle ready positioning with the arms - he looks like he's boxing

of course i still want this - can they really not just put them out by spring? - wtf with october? - just pour the plaster in the mold, paint them up and sell them to me!!

also does anyone know where to preorder? - the dc direct site only has pics - not ordering info

thanks for the info

me too - always going to want more!

my dream aside from world peace is for an animated series voiced by keaton, produced by burton, drawn like the movie adaption comics

i know i'm way behind on this but i'm just getting into blu ray somewhat - is the 20th anniversary blu ray basically the same as the disc in the dvd anthology aside from the better blu ray image?

any different extras?

Batman (1989) / come on knox
Tue, 22 Dec 2009, 05:57
when knox and vicki stroll through wayne manor, and then bruce introduces himself to them in the arsenal room, knox apparently needs to be told who bruce wayne is (and you are?)

so bruce wayne's the richest guy around town, has a (empty) seat at the city council, but this beat reporter doesn't know what he looks like?

ehh - ohh well i guess he's still better than that dork reporter from returns but he should know what the donald trump of gotham looks like, right?

i vote for the whore in the beginning of Bat 89 who propositions the 10 year old kid

i like the idea of a winter setting for returns - goes well with the whole penguin deal- didn't like it though that they filmed this winter movie primarily indoors and in los angeles - so i never really was sold on the winter aspect of returns

for me gloomy old pinewood worked the best

Misc. Burton / Re: Burton Trilogy

yeah Billy Dee Williams was SO good in ESB/ROTJ that 10 years later he got another acting job lol

he only gets added respect on this board because he was IN the film we all worship - and by 1995 (Forever time) he'd been completely off of hollywood radar

he was fine though with his few lines in B89 - but so was Eckhardt (Porkins from ESB by the way) and the hooker who propositions the 10 year old kid in the opening
