I'm considering getting it
You must own it if you're a "fan"!   ;)  It looks pretty good actually.  Picture would be about a 3.75/5.  There's a bit of noise and grain to it that's missing from say, Batman Returns, which has a startlingly beautiful blu-ray transfer.  Overall though it's worth owning.

Has anyone ever seen Speechless? Geena Davis and Christopher Reeve are in it!

It probably sucks as it is a seemingly forgotten film, but it's Batman and Superman in the same movie so I have to get it at some point.

I actually quite like that film.  It's not fantastic but it's got some great comedic moments in it.  Christopher Reeve is a total creep in it, too.   ;D

I try to watch it every year before Christmas (but typically I forget)!  I did watch it last night though.  I also watched The Nightmare Before Christmas and National Lampoons to try and cement the festive feeling.   ;)

I think Keaton has a role in Burton's upcoming "Frankenweenie"... so maybe that will be a rekindling of their uhh... cinematic relationship?   ;)

What would be really great is if WB were to do a 25th anniversary of Batman in 2014 and Batman Returns for 2017... each disc accompanied with a reunion of sorts (or a round-table kind of discussion) with Tim Burton, Michael Keaton, and the respective villains of each film.  I'd love to see Warners release some nice hardcover books to accompany the anniversary as well.   :)

I so want to place my order on Batman and the Joker now, but I'm really concerned about getting the best possible deal without having to pay outrages EU import taxes. I live in central Europe (Austria). Where's everyone living overseas ordering them from?

Play.com seems like the best option yet. €312 / GBP 267 and free shipping.

I didn't want to miss out so I pre-ordered from Sideshow (Joker and Batman)... and I live in New Zealand... so I'm sure the import duties are going to tack on at least $50-60.  Not much I can do about that, unless I get them off eBay when the figures are released.  267 pounds for both (including shipping) sounds like a solid deal to me.   :)
