finally!

so amazon just emails me and asks if i still want the keaton statue i preordered in august as they're having trouble locating the item to ship  - if they can't find one for me by nov 25th they'll cancel my order 

wish i would have known i was in a "maybe" situation with them to begin with!

finally ordered the Keaton statue from amazon - saw a few lower prices but only from sites i've never heard of - anyone find a great deal from a trusted site?

ships in October!

anyone have a good Batman tattoo? - thinking of getting a Keaton themed one if that's possible -who's got a good one, Keaton or not?

always seemed weird how the reaction from the guy he harpoons in the shoulder and yanks over the rail in the chemical plant is "heyyy get me down!" - that's such a violent maneuver - he should just be a hanging bloody moaning lost cause

i know i'm way behind on this but i'm just getting into blu ray somewhat - is the 20th anniversary blu ray basically the same as the disc in the dvd anthology aside from the better blu ray image?

man how lame are the kid's parents in the opening scene? - the neighborhood hooker offers up an inviting "hi honey" specifically to the 10 year old and the parents drag him right away - let the kid have some fun!

ok, weird though that they have the hooker target the kid like that - is she hoping the parents will split?? - he'll whip out his allowance and they'll get a room??

from what i knew of batman before the summer of 1989 he always wore gray and blue or gray and black - then when the film came out he's of course mostly all black - oddly though it was never an issue - loved it as soon as he hit the screen, got knocked on his ass by the thugs and stood back up

anyone have a problem back then with him looking different than what we'd known before in comics and tv shows?

also does anyone wish chris nolan would throw some yellow onto bale's costume or do you like it the way it is? - for me the new bat is all ninja - i'd like some yellow in the symbol maybe - and less of a motocross feel maybe as a whole

Catwoman - Cher was rumoured- HAAAAAAAAHAHAHAH yea right ok! - oh wait this isn't 1978, or 88 - maybe angelina jolie but there's just something not there with her on screen - jessica biel DID look hot in the catwoman outfit in that sandler movie tho - my vote is megan fox! (for catwoman and for every other female role in a movie from now on)

anyone ever hear any concrete reason as to why no new Keaton presence on the SE dvds? - only shows his old Returns interviews - disappointing!

also i know i saw somewhere where the "where does he get those wonderful toys?" line is followed up by joker saying "well go and ask him!" as he yells at the goons to give chase - of course it's not in the movie but i always thought that was a great 2nd part to that line - anybody remember seeing that footage someplace?

when he's hanging from the catwalk with "108" pound vicki he lets go and falls and it looks like it actually says DIE on the building behind him as he falls

i'm not saying it actually says DIE but it looks like it might

Bat Ice Skates in Batman & Robin! - they clicked their heels like Dorothy and out came the ice skates - at least we knew in the 1st 5 minutes what crap we were in for - also horrible was the freeze gun being knocked in the air and taking that quick jolt to the side so it could land on that ledge - was it that hard to loft a freeze gun into the air naturally and have it land on a ledge?? - schumaker sucks

anyone ever visit pinewood or any filming locations? - i think wayne manor was knebworth castle yeah? - we should hold the screening at axis chemical! or maybe at gotham city cathedral in 5 minutes.....

but i wonder if there's a pinewood tour that might have any old stuff from the 1st film

at WB studios in LA they have the '89 batsuit costume with a big DO NOT TOUCH sign next to it - how unfortunate that when i went down to "tie my shoe" i "accidentally" touched the bat boot! - and then accidentally i pulled off the cowl and tried it on - perfect fit!!
