The serials were excluded, but this makes George Clooney as the only Batman who succeeded in never killing anyone.

Heh, I remember feeling odd when Batman explained to Robin that the Penguin's goons evaporated when making receiving during the 1966 film. I did feel like he killed them, but I never thought too much about it.

As for Batman allegedly killing Joker's truck driver in TDK? Believe it or not, I think it's quite possible that he didn't, and I see no reason why the truck driver wasn't knocked unconscious instead. That would be like claiming that Batman in BR killed the gun-toting Red Triangle Gang goons who hung onto the Batmobile just by stepping on the brakes and send them flying away.

I don't know. The whole top of that truck was crushed. If the driver survived, it would've been in spite of Batman's actions.

There is now a Superman Movie Kill Count.

I'm far from a fan of the way Jonathan Kent died in MOS...but really? It's not like Clark played a direct role in getting his dad killed like Batman did to Ra's al Ghul? Like it or not, Clark thought he had to let his dad die because the world wasn't ready to find out what he could do. I don't particularly like it, but that's besides the point.

A deleted scene like Superman destroying the Fortress of Solitude with Lex inside doesn't count, in my opinion.

I know people will continue to bitch and complain that Superman had a hand in the destruction of Metropolis, but I reckon it's no worse than Batman getting people killed in TDK and TDKR. His refusal to end the Joker twice because of his "misplaced sense of righteousness" puts Gotham in harm's way (which makes no sense because he killed a beaten Ra's to save millions of innocent people, according to what he said to Talia), and then makes his moral code even more pointless by killing Two-Face when Gordon's son was threatened. Worse, he taints his symbol to protect a psychopath, and tells a lie which gives the entire town false hope, and puts every civilian in grave danger when the truth about Two-Face eventually comes out. People die and get hurt as a result. And that responsibility lies with Batman (and Gordon).

But whatever. Let's poke fun at the collateral damage in MOS. Bloody hypocrites.
