Alan Rickman is dead....unbelievable!

He was known more to us younger ones as Professor Snape, and he was damn fine in every film I saw him in.
Snape is one of my favourite characters of all time. He's well written by Rowling, but Rickman really did amplify things further with his voice and sheer presence. He said a lot without even talking.

I agree. He was the best possible choice for the character and really brought him to life.
