Title: Golden Books adaptations with Bruce Timm-styled art
Post by: The Laughing Fish on Mon, 11 Dec 2017, 13:25
I stumbled onto this blogger page that contains screenshots of these official colouring and children's story books of the movie, containing illustrations resembling Bruce Timm's artwork.

That fourth image of Alfred is definitely ripped straight out of BTAS.

I find any more screenshots, I'll share 'em here.

Here is a scanned picture of Batman, Robin and Alfred in front of the Batcomputer from the Triple Treat book. Yes, this Timm's illustration alright. If not, it's an identical impersonation.

Nice post - they used this art for a lot of merchandise (I had a pillowcase for instance), but the books are the most thorough example. It really pieces together a different interpretation of the movie.

I had that top coloring book. I also had a paper doll book that if I'm remembering right used a lot of the BTAS designs too.

I am skeptical. Somebody obviously tried very hard to emulate his style. But it doesn't look quite like Timm to me.
