Meh. It's obviously the best of that series, and has it's fair share of classic moments, but I respect it if anything - but don't neccesarily like it. And I always found the end hilarious. The viewer knows that whatever happens in the other films, Superman just has to spin around the Earth and all is back to normal.

^ Yep.  Pretty much that's my big gripe too.  Plus, it opens a lot of uncomfortable doors.  Jonathan Kent's death, Hitler, Pol Pot, Stalin, etc, Superman can now address all of those and more.  I don't usually like time travel for these very reasons.
