Hi Everyone,

Hope the holidays are going well for you all!!! Anyway, I thought I share with you a wonderful opportunity.  Omni Music Publishing is doing a special limited time offer for the complete engraved Full Score releases of both Batman & Batman Returns.  Buy them both together at a special sale price of $125.00. or get Batman Returns for only $65.00.  Recently, Omni Music just released the 2nd edition book of Batman 1989, which is originally valued at $75. I had the great fortune of being able to help with some of the proof reading for this new edition as well as help restore "Rescue Alt." Cue as it is a vast improvement over the 1st edition.

Anyway, here is the product details. Don't miss your chance to purchase these masterpiece scores, the offer expires December 31st.  Happy Holidays Everyone!!!

Hey Everyone,

I know that during this difficult time a lot of people are quarantined and doing their best to stay safe, but in light of all the chaos this pandemic has brought something interesting has occurred.  I've noticed that quite a few celebrities are starting to do live audio commentaries of their movies and posting it on youtube.  Since quite frankly they have more free time.  Zach Synder did a commentary for BVS,  Pierce Brosnan did one for Goldeneye,  Joseph Mazzello did one for Jurrassic Park,  Kevin Smith did one for Jay and Silent Bob Reboot, and I'm sure many more are doing them.  Anyway it got me thinking and I thought if there is any possible way we can get in touch with Michael Keaton, Jack Nicholson, Danny Devito, Michelle Pfeiffer, Kim Basinger, Kevin Conroy, Mark Hamill, Danny Elfman, and any other celebrities you can think of etc etc.   Maybe we can see some of these celebrities do a live commentary for Batman, Batman Returns, Mask of the Phantasm etc etc.  Especially, since Warner Bros.  is unlikely to  release any new commentaries with the blu ray releases.  Now is the time I believe to ask the actors if they would be willing to participate since everyone is pretty much stuck at home trying to keep from being bored and staying relevant.  What do you guys think?

I honestly wasn't sure where to put this topic, but I happened to stumble on what might be the most bizarre attempt to make a Bat Woman movie back in 1966.  Has anyone ever seen or heard of this movie before?

Before Batman rips off his mask to reveal his identity to Selina. It is made visibly clear that Batman's eye makeup is removed.  Now, this isn't news to anyone who's watched the movie over a dozen times,  but what's interesting is that someone made an effort to fix the scene and keep the continuity of the eye makeup. Right up to the point when Bruce's face is revealed.  Personally, I wish this was how it was done originally.  What do you guys think?

Did anyone else notice that the music featured in The Batman costume test footage was only one note shy of the Darth Vader Motif?

Listen to how close the theme was to Vader.

Hey Everyone,

Found this rare footage of the premiere for Batman Returns which also includes a look at the merchandising and stunt show.  Hope everyone watches and enjoys.

Hey Guys,

Found this really cool fan trailer of Batman 89 done in the old classic style of the 1940's. Please check it out and enjoy.  In my opinion this trailer proves that Burton's Batman is Film Noir.

Hi Everyone,

Thought you guys would like to know that in celebration of BATMAN's 30th anniversary La La Land Records is reducing their price on the Danny Elfman Collection 4 Disc Set going only for $35.00 for a limited time.  This to me is hands down the greatest motion picture score of all time.  Nothing beats Elfman's BATMAN and BATMAN RETURNS.

Happy Anniversary to you all.  Also, for those interested please be on the look out over at OMNI MUSIC Publishing.  Cause very soon Tim Rodier will be releasing BATMAN RETURNS in FULL SCORE expected to be out by July 10, 2019.

Anyway, to help get in the spirit of the 30th anniversary celebration. Here is a short clip of me improvising the batman theme reprise for piano.  Hope you all enjoy.

Hi Everyone, thought I let you guys know that Omni Music Publishing is releasing Danny Elfman's full orchestral score to BATMAN RETURNS in complete book engraved form.  That's right! The Full Orchestral Score.  I've been in contact with Tim Rodier, the owner of Omni Music Publishing regarding the release of BATMAN RETURNS for the past few months. He had shared this photo with me on his facebook page

Now Although this concept is very cool looking it's not the final version.  I had originally felt that it was missing a few elements to make it feel more like Batman Returns.  So I added some snow and also included a cat.  Which of course I showed Tim.

After Tim saw what I did with the concept art and heard my ideas.  He eventually talked with his artist and later told me that he will be including snow in the final art.  However, due to time and money he will not be including the cat.  Which I thought was a real pity cause to me the cat was an important reference to Catwoman.  But no matter,  I'm really excited for this release and hope you guys are too.

Found this rare video regarding the controversy of Batman Returns impact on children.  For the record when I was a kid I absolutely loved Batman Returns and still do till this very day.  I was never traumatized nor did it ever effect me in a negative way.  I would go as far as saying the film inspired me in a very positive way and I'm very glad it was made in the way Tim Burton envisioned it.  Hope everyone enjoy's the video.

Hi Everyone,

I wanted share with all of you my finished Redux Cut of Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens.  Me and a good friend of mine began working on this fan edit back in 2015 and we completed it sometime in 2017 Long before the release of The Last Jedi.  The reason it's taken so long to get this out is because I've been having alot of trouble going viral with it due to copyrights with Disney.

I've never been a fan of what Disney and Kathleen Kennedy has done with Star Wars and as far as I'm concerned the franchise is dead.  However,  my friend encouraged me to make this cut with him.  We both tried our best to make this cut feel more like a Star Wars movie and less than a Disney film.  Our Cut is completely different from the original theatrical version.

Anyway, I sincerely hope that if you love Star Wars and were disappointed with what Disney has done with the franchise you at least give me and my friend's cut a fair chance.  Hope you all enjoy and may the force be with you all.

Not sure if anyone knew about this, but it's really heartbreaking to see him in such a fragile state.  My heart goes out to him and his family.

Animated Batman / Happy 25th Anniversary BTAS
Wed, 6 Sep 2017, 21:20
Yesterday was the 25th Anniversary of Batman: The Animated Series.  In my opinion it is truly the best produced cartoon series ever made and a great classic.  I remember watching the series when it first aired in 1992.  I was just like young Bruce Wayne when he watched the episodes of The Gray Ghost wearing his fedora and cape while holding his beloved action figure.  I wore my 92 Batman cowl and cape while holding my Batman 89 action figure while watching the series.  Great Memories.
