This is quite entertaining.

Obviously I wanted the 89 to win..but I'm glad the 66 won ;)
Oddly enough, this isn't the first time representatives from the '66 and '89 franchises raced each other.
Quote2 BATMEN DUKE IT OUT ON SKI SLOPES
It was Batman vs. Batman, Adam West vs. Michael Keaton, in a highlight of the fifth annual Johnnie Walker Duchin Cup Celebrity Ski Invitational.
West - who played Batman on television and has lived in Ketchum since 1986 - probably knows Baldy better than Keaton, who portrayed the caped crusader in last summer's hit movie. Keaton said before his first run that he last skied Sun Valley a couple of years ago.But Keaton proved the superior schusser on the first of two trips down the mountain, conquering the course in 32.67 seconds compared with West's 33.45 seconds.
In the second heat, Keaton trimmed his time to 31.99. West took a tumble near the top of the run (BAM! OOF!) and had to settle for 40.67. Near the starting gate, rumor had it that the winner of the Keaton-West matchup would face The Joker later on. But neither Jack Nicholson nor Cesar Romero was anywhere to be found.
The Caped Crusaders captured third place, led by Keaton and ex-Olympian Kiki Cutter.
Aldrin's Markernauts - named after a brand of ski bindings - captured first place at Wednesday's race. Terry Palmer, a former pro ski racer, was team captain.
Second place went to the Masquerade Fairies, led by Chuck Ferries, a former Olympian and Ketchum resident who heads ski manufacturer Scott USA.
Other luminaries in attendance included ex-astronaut Buzz Aldrin and actors Clint Eastwood, Janet Leigh and Kim Cattrall.

So I guess that evens the score. We need a tie breaker!
The people behind that Batmobile race video are currently working on a Batman vs. Wolverine fight. Here's one they made for Gandalf vs. Darth Vader.

Presumably they'll film a similar live-action scrap for Batman and Wolverine. We'll have to keep an eye on their channel for when the video is posted.
From the same guys who raced the '66 and '89 Batmobiles. Here's the full episode:

I'm surprised nobody's commented on this. I thought it was a neat little fan film. It's the first time I've seen a decent live-action version of Wolverine's costume. And the Batsuit has the classic look I'd like to see in the next Batman movie.
I'm bumping this thread now in case anyone missed it back in July.
Thanks for the bump as I missed seeing this. Quite enjoyable.
This highlights why body armour suits ala the movies make a whole lot of sense.
BITS always do nice work with bringing comic characters to life
On a related note, here's a fan video of Batman vs. Captain America.

Here's another Batman-themed episode of Super Power Beat Down from the Bat in the Sun team. This time it's Nightwing vs. Gambit. The fight itself begins at the two minute mark.

Here's yet another Batman-themed episode of Super Power Beat Down. This time it's Batman vs. Deadpool. This was uploaded last year, but I've only just seen it. It contains some nice Batman 89 references.

And here's the Superman vs. Thor episode.

Awesome stuff by Bat in the Sun. I've seen the Thor video before, but Deadpool was just what I needed right now. Very funny, loved the B'89 references.
This isn't a Batman-related episode by I'm posting it anyway because the fight choreography is insanely good.

These vids make me wish the Bat in the Sun team could produce a licensed DC Comics web series. Then we'd finally get to see faithful live action versions of the Flash, Aquaman, Wonder Woman and all the other characters Warner Bros is dragging their feet over.
I watched most of these videos a year ago - they're great! They really feel like a comic book coming to life. I love the Batmobile 89 appearance in the Deadpool fight. :)
But as if Tommy the White Ranger would beat Scorpion... ::)
Here is Wolverine vs Predator.

Why wouldn't white ranger win against scorpion??
Well, the fact that Scorpion butchers people to death and sends them to hell plays a big factor in my opinion.

True that is a good point but anyone who grew up watching the original mighty morphin power rangers would know that the rangers are full experienced martial artists & have faced & killed both monsters & warriors that were ether created by lord zedd or rita or stored away because of how powerful they were like the evil green ranger.Please don't take this the wrong way it just bothers me how people don't ether remember or know that the rangers have faced many monsters in the past with un-believable power & even almost died trying to kill them before they destroy or enslave humanity.
The Punisher vs. Red Hood.

Here are two versions of Batman vs Darth Vader, featuring a cameo appearance of the Arkham Origins version of the Batwing.
This video shows Vader wins in the end.

Finally, here is this beatdown where Joker and Harley Quinn lose to Deadpool and Domino. Notice "The Pale Moonlight" line from B89 is referenced here. 8)

The Joker cosplay looks to have been inspired from Injustice: Gods Among Us. I love it! That being said, it's awkward that a fan-made Joker costume with make-up is better than anything than what Hollywood has produced in the last eight years. :-[

For not being pedigreed Hollywood actors (at least none I recognize), those two weren't bad. Seems like Hamill was the principal influence there but there were some flavors of Nicholson and Ledger too, plus a bit of the actor's own approach.
As to the fight itself... yeah, I'd picture it going just about that way. Bat-God is an archetype that occasionally annoys me. But Joker-God, to a lesser degree, is more palatable in that he's not really a fighter. So if he fights, he won't take the risk unless he already knows how to win. To me, that's a successful idea.
Also, not bad production value. Good lighting, good costumes, good makeup effects. The camera work was a bit annoying at times but nothing's perfect, right?
Not a bad little find, that one.
I'm of the view the Joker is one of those characters that finds a way to win, even against the impossible. He may be beaten to a pulp, but he still gets the job done. Or at worst, escapes to fight another day. This includes prep time or no prep time. The no prep time scenario is where the real intuitive genius is on show.
This is the best version of the Joker by Bat in the Sun, I think.
Most of these are great movie shorts. Batman vs Deadpool, Batman vs Vader, Superman vs Thor are still favourites. The only bad thing about them are the annoying before and after segments. I wish they uploaded shorter versions with these parts removed.

This looks promising.

I admire their enthusiasm because I can tell it's genuine. I'm on board with their psychological approach to the characters. Something else to look forward to.
I'd forgotten it was Kevin Porter and Bat in the Sun that made City of Scars (2010) and Seeds of Arkham (2011).

I still rate Dead End as the best Batman fan film, but these had impressive production values and a lot of passion invested in them.
Bat in the Sun have released their latest Batman fan film titled Dying is Easy. The cast includes Casper Van Dien as Gordon, Michael Madsen as Bullock and Doug Jones (the Thin Clown in Batman Returns) as the Riddler. The production values are very impressive.

Some pretty impressive deep cuts there.
* Iceberg Lounge
* Axis Chemicals
* Shreck Towers
The actor playing the Joker was good. Leaning in to Mark Hamill with the voice a bit, but that's not a bad thing.
That reading of Batman being afraid to kill because he can't stop rings very true to me. In fact, that's the only way I can see him not killing someone. Because he wouldn't stop with just one. But I don't think he'd ever say so out loud to anyone. Least of all the Joker. Good character moment tho.

I have the upmost respect for the people who make these short movies. They've done a remarkable job in capturing the atmosphere of Batman. The actor playing the Joker wasn't to my tastes but that's not a dealbreaker. Very well done overall.
