My Review

I got the app for the iPhone and I have to say I am not overly impressed.

You have 2 choices...you can download the 1GB movie or stream it.  The downloaded version runs fine but the streamed version is very laggy and takes a while to buffer. I was running it on a 2Mb broadband line so it should have been fine.  The picture quality was also very pixelated and under-par with your average YouTube video.

The extra content is all streamed to the phone and suffers from the same issue. The extra content consists of behind the scenes video and photos...nothing new here though.

In addition there is a quiz consisting of clips and multiple choice questions. Again the streaming issue is a problem with the quiz and is quite frustrating - making it a little redundant and an over-all waste of time.

You can download the app for free from Apples App Store and give it a try for yourself. The free version offers limited content (some videos and the first 5 mins of TDK) and an option to buy the full version.

Overall while it is nice to see WB exploring different mediums - and ever nicer to have Batman as the pioneer of new technology - I don't think I will be parting with my cash for further instalments based on this first release.
