I watched Army of Thieves a few nights ago.

It's an entertaining heist film, and a valid entry to the Armyverse. This actually takes place during the beginning of the Las Vegas zombie outbreak, not long before it happened as I thought. There's a bit of horror, but the light-hearted heist comedy takes center stage.

Mathias Schweighofer is charming yet again as Sebastian/Ludwig Dieter, and Nathalie Emmanuel was great as Gwendoline. I really like how the legend of the safes are playing an integral part in the Armyverse, and the film has its own identity and style, while making you believe it occupies in the same world as AOTD. Schweighofer not only played Dieter again, but he did a fine job in directing too. The close-up CGI of the effects of the safe getting unlocked while Dieter cracks them is very creative and shows imagination.

Check it out.

Christopher Nolan: He breaks it in...

Jonathan Nolan: ...the first two.

AOTD became the first film to win the #OscarFanFavourite Twitter contest at the Oscars.
