If I could rewrite one scene in "The Dark Knight"

I can't see how changing the stort so that Dent gets scarred in court rather than as a result of being kidnapped would have worked within Nolan's narrative.  For one, we wouldn't have got the highly affecting scene between Dent and Rachel in which they speak to each other just before coming to the realisation that Batman's rescue of Dent means that Rachel will inevitably fail to be rescued in time; in my opinion, one of the most powerful scenes in the film.

Besides, I thought this thread was meant to be about making minor tweaks, not a wholesale disamantling of the entire film (which would be the only possible consequence of having Dent scarred in court).
