Merchandise / Re: Batman returns video game

I've got the Amiga version of Returns & it's one of the worst games I've ever played!

Here's some info on it: http://hol.abime.net/56 Check out some of the reviews!

It's almost ironic, B89 was one of the best Amiga film tie-ins & Returns was the worst!  :'(

Great looking cape! I, too, am a little concerned about the AC at a convention in London I'm going to in a few weeks!  :-\

Misc. Burton / Re: song

The songs in the film are:

Opening scene: The Future

Bruce's charity ball: Vicky waiting & Electric chair (both instrumental).

Museum: Partyman

Parade: Trust

End credits: Scanda-lousy, sorry I mean Scandalous. (I'm not really a fan of that one).

I don't know why Lemon crush & Arms of Orion weren't in the film. Back then, I would've liked to have heard Batdance over the end credits.  ::)

Batman Returns (1992) / Re: max
Mon, 8 Jun 2009, 11:30
My sister had a cat called Max.  8)

Ironically, he doubled as Miss Kitty when I tried to make a spoof of Returns at college! Couldn't finish the film as the girl playing Catwoman got pregnant.  :'( (Sound familiar?)

Anyway, back on topic. The only thing I didn't like about the character of Max was that white wig! Didn't suit Walken in my eyes.

According to the comic adaptation the bullet passed through both cheeks, & in the novel, it says that the bullet ricocheted off Batman's cape hitting Jack in the face.

I've always thought that rather than leaving Jack with 2 holes in his cheeks, the surgeon just made the smile by connecting the mouth to the holes. If that makes sense.  :P But I've always wondered why the victims of the Smylex have exactly the same smile as the Joker.

Another thing that I thought of recently, what happened to Harold's wallet? Batman roughed up Nick & Eddie for stealing it but never gave it back!  ???

I met him 2 years ago at Star Wars Celebration IV in L.A.! I had no idea he played Harold. That's 2 B89 cast members I've met now, (the other being Billy Dee).

Before anyone asks, I've no idea why we're both leaning to one side!  :P

Looking good, Reeves! I'll have to dig out my Catwoman mask that I made years back & post pics.
Looking forward to seeing the completed bust!

Here's one of my favourite tracks from the best. Batman game. Ever! (in my opinion) The only reason to own an Amiga!  ::)

The game was developed & programmed in Manchester, England, same as me!  ;D
The C64 version's music is worth a listen, too!
