Darren Aronofsky in the running to helm The Batman...again?

When I was a kid, I wanted something along the lines of The Crow (the original by Proyas). Not sure if I'd call that realistic exactly but it wasn't exactly Burton either.

I'm just going to say it. I have no idea who Aronsky or Aronskyfall is. Never seen a picture of him. Don't know what movies he has directed, or what his style is. Not bothered, either. Whenever I see this name pop up in regards to Batman I never treat it seriously. Might have been a chance to direct Batman in the past, I don't know. But I think it's just hot air.
