And no problem with Batman fighting in the daylight. If something bad enough happened, Batman would be damn stupid not to show up. He ain't gonna let people die just because the sun's up.
Yes, I get that, but just like how Catwoman doesn't look like Catwoman, Batman fighting during the day is another aesthetic choice that Nolan has dropped the ball on, once again.

After I read the IGN article a few days ago, I DL'd the B89 NES ROM. I can get to The Joker, but damn is he hard. The game brings back so many memories, and is my second favorite Bat-game.

I barely come here to this forum, but after reading all of these comments on Hathaway's Catwoman, I think I'll stop by much more now. I normally post over at SHH, and I'm in the minority of people who are upset by the aesthetics of both Catwoman and Bane, along with Bane's voice, and from what I can see, Batman fighting in the day.

To me, just because you wear a leather suit, doesn't make you Catwoman. From what we have seen so far, she has shown absolutely no feline traits to her costume. There are no claws, whip, cat-ears, cowl, etc. Her goggles don't even have a cat-like shape to it, they just look like some generic high-tech goggles. And I'm getting sick of people saying this is just an updated version of the Julie Newmar suit. Are you kidding me? Julie Newmar's suit had the domino mask, sure, but she also had claws, cat-ears, spoke like a cat, and had cat-like motives to her entire persona. It was completely evident, even by looking at her, that she was trying to personify a cat. With Hathaway's version.....nothing.

Looking good! This looks to be shaping up to be a good movie. Bane being one of my faves, I was a bit worried about how they were going to "Nolanize" him
to fit with the series, And was worried they might ruin him like they did Scarecrow. But so far I'm really happy with what I see (Esp With Tom Hardy playing him)
Can't wait to see what other teaser's are to come!
Bane is a really cool villain, although, I hate the mask. It doesn't look like Bane to me. But I do like the way he charged Batman at the end. It looks like the characterization will be intact, but aesthetically speaking, I'm not a fan of the mask.

And who is he talking to?  The obvious answer would be Batman, based on Gordon's words and the fact that Bale seems to be responding to him.  As you can see, on the left of the screen, there's an outline of somebody listening to Gordon's words.
But is Gordon aware that Batman is Bruce Wayne or is Bruce disguised/in the Batsuit?
It's Bruce with a black ski mask on to hide his identity. Here's a spy shot of TDKR in Gotham's hospital.

QuoteWho is climbing up the wall of the well?  It almost seems like it's Bruce, climbing out of the well that lead him into the Batcave (though I believe he boarded it up at the end of Begins), but considering Gordon's words, "this evil rises," it could be Bane.
If you pause it, you can see that the person looks bald, so chances are that it's Bane.

QuoteSame goes for someone doing push-ups.  It's too dark for me to tell.  Again, is it Bruce training himself?  Bane in prison?
This looks like Bale with a little bit of a beard, so it looks like Bruce. And I don't think he's in a jail cell, those look guard rails to me.

When I first saw it, I liked it for the most part, but the more I look at it, the more I'm not a fan. A member over at SHH(bwc05nole) made a nice sketch of what to expect it to look like from the front end. I dunno, not really a fan:

I dunno, it just sounds like an overzealous Nolan fanboy, who gets upset when people are questioning the news about the movie.

I really want to see a pimped up cave.  I think a new batmobile might be a given in TDKR.
I think both the cave and the Batmobile are a given.

As much as I hate TDK-suit, I hated the way Gotham looked in TDK more. If it looks closer to the way it was presented in BB, I'll be MUCH happier.

I just want to to throw out something else, how long do you guys think the film will be? TDK was around 2 and a half hours and since Nolan is essentially wrapping up his trilogy and all the locations we are hearing they are going to film, plus what happened at the end of TDK. I think there is going to be alot of story to cover as well and exposition of the main villains. I wouldn't mind a bat-film pushing 3 hrs. Just my little 2 cents.

To tell you the truth, I hope it's not as long as TDK. I like the time on BB at around 140 min.

I guess I'm in the minority, who really didn't like TDK, and thought BB was a better movie from Nolan?  :-[
