Yeah, I saw all the uproar on social media. I won't be playing or supporting this game.

This won't be in my head canon for the Arkham series. What a bummer.  >:(

I'm really liking the casting so far.

I still think they have way too many characters, but we'll see how it all balances out once the movie releases.

Those look great.  8)

Speaking of Knox, are you going to make him?

Ha, that's pretty cool. But man, there's just something so unsettling about Joaquin Phoenix's Joker. He's the creepiest live action Joker to me.

I've never seen those, that's actually really cool. I dunno, I may like that design a little more?

Thanks for the share. Very cool!  8)

Yeah, those popped up in my YT recommends about 2 weeks ago. I thought they were pretty cool. Short, but cool.

Quote from: DocLathropBrown on Sat, 13 Jan  2024, 02:13What's become clear is that people are tired of drama relating to the DCEU--a product line which is now dead. Studio politics on the part of Warner Brothers were not new in the case of the DCEU, and it's just what happens in the industry, it always has and always will. It's the nature of business.

David Ayer and Zack Snyder were not treated especially poorly compared to others, and people who insist on beating that dead horse are looked at with annoyance, whether it's openly stated here or not. The conspiracies, the posturing, the whining--it's time to move on from it. The fact that only one person here is still talking about it (and prettymuch never gets replied to anymore) is the proof.
Yeah, it's weird, because I get it, I really do: I understand why people are so vocal and have so much invested, but at the same time, I just don't care about studio drama/politics. Sure, sometimes I'll mention it if it's part of the discussion I'm in, but for the most part, I just avoid it, because that's not what I'm interested in. I care more about the characters. The entire reason why I come to comic forums is to talk about the actual characters. But that's just me. I know other people like Hollywood drama, so I try not to say anything about it. And again, sometimes I do get into it, so I can be a hypocrite in that regard.

But at the same time, this is the Batgirl thread, and since the movie never came out, I guess that's all there is to talk about?

Yeah, the Telltale games are good, although, I think S1 is way better than S2. They totally rewrote the mythos, so everything feels fresh. It's a must for Batman fans.

But reading the rest of your post, I had no idea there was a Brave and the Bold game. I'm gonna have to find a way to play that.  :o

I never played Blackgate, so I just ordered it for pretty cheap. I'll try to get to it soon. I guess I'll have to charge up my 3DS, since I haven't played it in a few years, lol.

I think B89 on NES is my favorite Batman game of all time. Side scrollers are still my favorite style of video games, and B89 is an incredible one on the NES. Tight controls, amazing music, fun bosses and stages/levels, it has everything you need for a fun experience. It doesn't follow the movie closely(few games did back in the 80s and 90s), but it's one of the best. It's right up there with Mario, Ninja Gaiden, Mega Man, etc.

I love it!  8)
