The Goldbergs is a uniquely nostalgic, that has a lot of charm to it and as I've been watching some episodes coming down to the end of last year, I wondered if a Batman episode was already done. Now, my wondering is becoming a reality as Kevin Smith will indeed tackle the wonder and nostalgia of Batman in the Summer of '89.

ALL Batfans should ensure they see this episode! It will help us relive a truly spectacular time in the history of cinema and be enamored again with all the paraphernalia of the best marketed film in history.  :)

I can't wait. This is a great show which often dedicates episodes to 80's pop culture. I'd imagine there'll be gags involving the grandfather played by George Segal expecting an Adam West style film. Theres an episode early in the series where Adam wants to see the Poltergeist so he tricks his grandfather into thinking they're going to go see the great mouse Detective, I could see a similar plot happening here.
