Thank you very much!  :D

2 new small posts today...

First- A brief clipping on the "Batmovie" from the March 3, 1989 edition of the San Jose Mercury News... http://www.1989batman.com/2013/07/vintage-newspaper-clipping-san-jose.html

Second- A video clip from the show "Movie Time" featuring Alexander Knox's alter ego, Robert Wuhl! http://www.1989batman.com/2013/07/video-feature-robert-wuhl-movie-time.html

A few new updates for you guys  :)

...a less angry-than-usual perspective from Adam West on the film back in 1989 in a vintage newspaper clipping post-

Read the rest here: http://www.1989batman.com/2013/08/vintage-newspaper-clipping-salinas.html

...an article on the stunts of Batman Returns from "Action Superheroes" Issue #4-

Read that guy here: http://www.1989batman.com/2013/08/vintage-magazine-article-action-heroes.html

...and a vintage video interview with Kim Basinger where she answers the toughest question of all- "Who's sexier- Batman or Bruce Wayne?"

Check that out here: http://www.1989batman.com/2013/08/video-feature-kim-basinger-movie-time.html

And I looked back over the thread, and I don't think I ever linked up the Burton Bat-centric episodes of the podcast I am a part of over here! The podcast is called "Action Features" and is available through the podcast app on iTunes. The Burton Batman episodes are numbers 38 & 39 if you decide to listen over there (with episode 44 being devoted to Batman The Animated Series). If you care to listen to them in Flash or HTML version directly through my blog though, here are the links:

Part 2: http://www.1989batman.com/2013/05/for-your-listening-pleasure-action.html

Thanks!

Great stuff as always James.  I particularly like that you're including some more 'Batman Returns' stuff.  :)
Johnny Gobs got ripped and took a walk off a roof, alright? No big loss.

Thanks man! Expected more of it sprinkled in here and there... :)

Today's post is back to '89 though... With the beautiful Japanese Movie Program Book reprinted in its entirety.

Simply outstanding work as always, James!

Agreed.  Also loved the Adam West article you posted.  It's nice to see confirmation that the man wasn't as bitter about the experience as the media would like to believe.
That awkward moment when you remember the only Batman who's never killed is George Clooney...

New "Vintage Magazine Article" post up today! One of the best of the '89 Batman-related mags of the time: The November 1989 Double-Issue of Cinefantastique!

You can read all the Batman related pages from the issue here (though you really should buy this magazine if you don't already own it, as it is pretty awesome): http://www.1989batman.com/2013/08/vintage-magazine-article.html
