If ever there was a story seemingly tailor made for Tim Burton's eccentric style, Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland must be it.

USATODAY.com has a first look at the stunning concept art for Burton's adaptation.

Sit back, sip a martini and look in awe. This is direct from the mind of Tim Burton.

Yes, absolutely. This has the potential to be truly special.

March 5? That's a long wait.. One nice coincidence, my best friend's birthday is March 5  ;D

It looks exactly like I imaged it should

really looking forward to it

Why can't it be March 5 now?
Why is there always someone who bring eggs and tomatoes to a speech?

When it comes to visuals I don't think anyone tops Burton. Just my opinion.

Those flowers with faces really creep me out.  Excellent!  It looks like this isn't just going to be a kids' film.
Burton is perfect for this story.
Johnny Gobs got ripped and took a walk off a roof, alright? No big loss.

Yeah, they're great. The film will be making use of digital technology, but Burton looks like he's going to use just the right ammount of it.

Oh man, am I pumped too see this!

It's a pretty long wait for its release, but hey, beauty takes time, as they say.
