I've heard that the 60's series will be released for the first time ever this year!

Why aren't I hearing this anywhere?

Are you for real?!

Any concrete evidence?

I read an interview with Adam West that strongly hinted at a possibility.

Why is there always someone who bring eggs and tomatoes to a speech?

I won't get my hopes up.

I'll believe it when it happens.

Adam West did a promotion for Dolby on Facebook last night. As part of that facts about Adam and Dolby were flashed on the page. One of those caught my eye. I believe there has to be something to this, a company like Dolby wouldn't commit to a statement like this without being sure.

I am awaiting a response from Fox.

Nothing has officially been announced but West's comments have certainly got people talking...

If they do this (which I damned hope they do) they ought to do it once, do it right. I'm talking Blu-ray.

It's about darn time, if it's true.

Time marches forward and still the show hasn't got a release.

This Dolby thing was a bunch of nonsense, then.  >:(

I wish they'd just resolve whatever legal issues are delaying the DVDs. It's ridiculous really. They could be making so much money off this show. Especially now, when the Batman movie franchise is going strong.

On the upside, I've heard rumours that Adam West and various other people connected to the show have been recording material in advance for when the series does eventually get released. I just hope Adam and Burt are still around when that day comes.
