The Returns batsuit is the best of all bat suits in history

the same reaction cause Burton when he cast Michael Keaton and Nicolas Cage for Superman (that lack of fate bring the superman project down), and now you think that it would be a bad decission? i honestly believe on what Burton believes: he demostrate it by cast Keaton for Batman (and no one was believing in him)and honestly he is the Best Batman ever, not even Chris Bale can beat him with his ridiculous bat-voice.

i dont like chriss o Donell's Robin, for me Robin must look a considerably smaller size than Batman, and O donell was almost bigger than Kilmer.

i would prefer Wayans as Robin if Burton is on board

i also saw that interview to the costume designer, but i really think that's what Burton have in mind when he creates his Catwoman, he just was finishing his own frankenstein story: Edward Siscorhands, and in "Nightmare before.." are also Frankeisntein and the Bride references like the "Sally" Character wich is also fragmented and his creator.

im a fan of Burton works since Pee-Wee and i honestly believe Burton was very much on that Frankenstein trip between the years 89-94, but maybe im wrong

again: great post batmanagelus

i believe that Batman 89 is similar to "The Killing Joke" but not in a explicit frame, like the "The Dark Knight" scene where Batman and Joker are talking on a table, i believe that the reference maybe is in trying to demostrate the similarities between Batman and Joker, you know on "Batman"(89) one(Batman-Joker) creates another(Batman-Joker), the whole movie is like a paralell between the two characters, in fact the two characters are conected by the same woman, that demostrate that they are the two sides of the same coin, like "the Killing Joke" comic demostrate in a diferent way, i believe that's why Harvey Dent-Two Face character is on the movie and i believe that's why Nolan puts him again on a Joker movie.

well i believe that is the influence: in both "The Killing Joke" And "Batman" 89 the scripts demostrate how similar this two guys are.

and please put the link where you did this with Batman Begins, and have you do it with Batman Returns?? put the links and check this post i wrote: http://www.batmanmovieonline.com/forum/index.php?topic=266.0

There are many James Whale's "Bride of Frankeinstein" references:
the prologue of both films are very similar:
The 1rst Scene Burton drive us to the Coplebot's Manor on The Pinguin's birthday: we see Pinguin's Father watching the icestorm; on the Bride of Frankeinstein on the 1rst scene we see Mary Shelley's Manor and (i belive) lord Byron Character is watching the storm, the rooms are very similar too

The Catwoman costume is a clearly a reference to Frankeinstein, she is like the Bride of Frankeinstein (or Batman), she is some kind of batman creation, because on the scene where BAtman save Selina she obvously gets influenced by the Batman monster

other reference i remember now is the way pinguin die, is very similar the way James Whale the director of Frankeinstein and Frankeinstein 2(The Bride) die: drowned on his pool.

Burton and Whale only get to do the 2 first movies of the franchise, and i don't believe Burton was concern about that in the time "Batman Returns" was made

i believe the petition should have more visible links on the site and maybe we can invite other batman websites to suport us, like Batman on film and others

what's with the petition let's do it!!!:

1.  who should the petition be addressed to specifically - without an accurate recipitent, the petition is useless.

i found this: http://www.dccomics.com/about/?action=contact

2.  detailed descriptions, dimensions, etc of what figures are wanted and accessories - what exactly are we asking for?

Size: 6.5" scale (and 12")
A dream collection (like "star wars" line with every character):
-Batman(89)
-Batman(Returns)
-Bruce Wayne
-Joker (museum)
-Joker (200 anniversary parade)
-Pinguin (elegant)
-Pinguin (dirty)
-Catwoman
-Vicky Vale
-Max Schreck
-Jack Napier
-Selina Kyle
-Comissioner Gordon
-Harvey dent
-Alfred
-Bob The Goon
-Carl Grissom
-some joker goons (like the one on the cathedral)
-some Pinguin's red triangle members
it would be perfect if they come with some kind of "gotham city" street parts to stand them, like the Matrix (mc Farlane) line.
i don't know if someone wants to make a Schumacher's Batman collection, honestly i don't care, but if they are out i'll probably buy them jejeje)

3.  a well written argument to post as the main letter of the petition - it has to be short, to the point and contain logical reasoning.

"These days i see an action figure for every single character has apeared on a movie, cartoon, comic or tv show, why is there are no (NEW)figures of the Burton's Batman Movies: im talking about a good sculped and quality figures, like "Mc Farlane toys" or "DC Direct" at least.  Now that the 20th anniversary is coming i think is the best excuse to realese them, and i'm sure that if it happens you will make a lot of batman fans very happy"

i don't know maybe something like that, lets do the petition
