Michael Bay eyed to direct LOBO for DC Films
Added: Fri, 9th Feb 2018 by Grissom

In some interesting news, the action blast-master Michael Bay, may be in talks to direct an upcoming Lobo film for WB. TheWrap reports Bay has met with Warner Bros. and DC to discuss potentially taking on a Lobo standalone film. Bay provided some notes on the project, which Jason Fuchs (Wonder Woman) will incorporate into a rewrite. Once the rewrites are finished, Bay will meet with Warner Bros. about potentially making a deal. Fuchs signed on to the project in 2016.

These are just talks presently, so there is no deal yet, written in stone. Brad Peyton, who directed San Adreas, was in previous talks to direct but has dropped out due to unspecified reasons. This interest in LOBO can be seen as WB's answer to the very successful Deadpool franchise.

Stay tuned as more comes to light.
