Adam West dies aged 88

We're very sad and shocked to report that iconic 1966 Batman Adam West has died aged 88. He had a "short but brave battle" with leukaemia according to a family spokesperson.

While Adam will always be known to fans around the world as millionaire philanthropist Bruce Wayne / Batman he also reached new audiences in shows like Danger Theatre and Family Guy - as well as guest appearances in Batman The Animated Series and Brave and the Bold.

Batman-Online would like to extend our condolences to his family, his friends and fans. Thank you Mr West, we will miss you.
