Wonder Woman sequel to look at core values

     After the record-breaking success of this past summer's Wonder Woman, movie-goers around the world are waiting in hot anticipation too see where the sequel will take the DC superhero. In a recent interview with NBC, Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot says that she hopes to explore some key values, not only in the sequel but other sequels to come.

     Gadot said in the interview " So many journeys she can experience. She has so many beautiful values. Each chapter is about different values of Wonder Woman, I think that could be really awesome. It’s like the Wonder Woman bible.” In the first film, we saw the horrors of war depicted and its effects on humanity and we also saw friendship and loyalty, even perseverance come to the forefront in the midst of such turmoil.

     The plot for the sequel is under wraps at the moment, although it is said that the heroine will take in the Russians in the cold war era of the 1989's. Patty Jenkins will return to direct, co-write, and produce the sequel. Co-writer Dave Callaham has also signed on to pen the film based on a treatment by Jenkins and DC creative chief officer Geoff Johns.

Wonder Woman hits theatres on November 1st, 2019 and should prove to be another massive hit for WB and DC.
