Batman to play significant role in Flashpoint movie
Added: Tue, 21st Nov 2017 by Grissom

As the DC Films Universe moves forward, Producer Geoff Johns recently confirmed that Batman will play a significant role in the upcoming Flash stand-alone film, Flashpoint. Ezra Miller's Flash is perceived by many to be one of the breakout stars of the just released blockbuster, Justice League. Fans are excited to see the other stories, where his character will play a pivotal role, either as then lone hero or with other members of the Justice League.

In a recent interview, Johns said that "There’s elements in it that we’re going to be playing into that we couldn’t do anywhere else. The scale of it, the Batman story of it all.”
For those a bit unfamiliar with the story, Barry Allen wakes up.one morning to find his powers missing, Superman a captive of the US Government and Aquaman and Wonder Woman at war almost destroying Western Union. In addition, Thomas Wayne, not Bruce, is Batman, a very vengeful and violent vigilante.

It's not clear what elements of the story will be used but we know Batman (Thomas Wayne?) will play a key role, and may very well include other members of the Justice League, even those that we have not seen in the present Justice League, now. playing in cinemas worldwide.
