Fans petition for Zack Snyder's version of Justice League
Added: Sun, 19th Nov 2017 by Paul (ral)

Following the tragic event of Zack Snyder's daughter's death, the director chose to stand down from finishing Justice League and the reins were passed to Joss Whedon.

As I stated in my review, the influence and changes made by Whedon are very evident. Along with Warner Bros demand that the film should be cut to 2hrs in length and Danny Elfman replaced scoring duties from Junkie XL - we ended up with what is a very different film than Snyder intended.

Fans have now started a petition for a Director's Cut of Justice League (you can read and sign it here). As of writing this it stands at over 20,000 signatures.

Personally I would love to see Snyder's original version (as I say that as someone who is not a fan of Batman vs Superman). It would be great (and proper) to get a Blu-ray release with both versions in it. Let the fans decide for themselves which is best.

Petition is here
