The Goldbergs show on ABC has always dealt with wonderful nostalgic moments from the 80's including music, TV, fashion and of course movies. One of the greatest films of the 1980's will finally be making it's way unto this stage. Dedicated Batfan and comic book writer, Kevin Smith, will direct the episode, much to the delight of Batman fans. Smith has garnered praise in recent times as he has directed some episodes of TV's The Flash and an upcoming episode of Supergirl.

This is what Kevin Smith had to say about the highly-anticipated episode:

"I grew up watching the Adam West Batman and I was in a sold out movie theater for Tim Burton’s Batman on  opening day, June 23rd, 1989, so I can’t wait to recreate those early eras of Bat-amania in the Goldbergs Universe. Luckily, the funny folks in front of and behind the cameras who make this hysterical show every week will be doing all the heavy lifting in our time travel experiment."

The title of the episode will be "Dynamic Duo" but the actual story or plotline is still under wraps. What is known is that it will center around the excitement for Tim Burton's blockbuster in the unforgettable summer of 1989.

The episode should air sometime in the spring and ALL Batman '89 fans should make sure their eyes are glued to their screens to see this significant, nostalgic, pop culture moment, remembered in all its glory.
