Liman takes a "Dark" turn

It appears that that "alternative" Justice League movie is well underway at Warner Bros. Dark Universe, or as many know it, Justice League Dark, has reportedly tapped Edge of Tomorrow's director Doug Liman, to helm. This team consists of John Constantine, Swamp Thing, Deadman, Zatanna and Etrigan the Demon. Guillermo del Toro was attached to direct a few years ago, but left to pursue other projects, leaving the film in limbo until this recent development.

Liman reportedly left the Channing Tatum vehicle, Gambit, to helm this new film in the DC property but sources say it was a mutual decision between the director and the studio. Justice League Dark should be the other major ensemble pic for the DC Extended Cinematic Universe, after Justice League, which blasts into theatres in November of 2017. Other heroes, however, will make cameos in the individual films as it was recently reported that Flash will cameo in the Cyborg movie, with speculations of other cameos in the other upcoming stand-alone films for DC.
