Possible details on Affleck's solo Batfilm
Some information has leaked concerning the upcoming Batman solo film, starring and directed by Ben Affeck. You can take the following as rumour for now, but it's interesting rumour nonetheless. WB and DC Films is said to be taking a page from the Death in the Family and Under the Red Hood storylines for Affleck's solo film. It will involve Jason Todd coming back from the grave as the Red hood, to terrorize Gotham under the guise of being the Batman. Batman, of course, will have to take on this threat with the possible help of Nightwing, who was the first Robin, Dick Grayson.
If this storyline pans out, we would have a climatic showdown between Batman, Red Hood and the Joker. It's unclear if the Red Hood storyline will continue into future Batfilms or even make cameos in other DC films, but as it stands, this may be the direction the solo Batfleck film takes.
The Batman is scheduled to hit theatres sometime in 2018.
