Prince passes away at the age of 57

      One of the greatest and most iconic musicians of all time, Prince, passed away at his Paisly Park home earlier today, April 21st at the age of 57. His first album, "For You", was released in 1978 and he followed that up with several prolific albums, showing clear evidence of evolution with each album. Most Batfans will remember him for his energetic Batman 1989 soundtrack album, which was released months before the film debuted. It's popularity almost reached the popularity of the film itself and became one of the best selling soundtracks of all time.

   We remember Prince Rogers Nelson here at Batman-online and we will never forget his many contributions as an artiste and of course, his unforgettable contribution to the Batman legacy.
