Justice League cast announced, Lex Luthor will be back
We have been getting some more frequent updates on DC's Justice League as the year draws to a close and this is just the latest; Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor will indeed return in the superhero epic. WB released the full cast list with Eisenberg, which may come as a surprise to some. At the end of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, the audience saw Luthor incarcerated as his plan to destroy both Batman and Superman only half-worked, as his creation Doomsday, took out the Man of Steel. Luthor's return should provide an interesting mix, as the Justice League will have to deal with Darkseid's number one guy, Steppenwolf, which ironically has not been named in the initial cast list.
Eisenberg is not the only interesting cast member, but Queen Hippolyta, played by Connie Nelson is also scheduled to appear. It remains to be seen if it will be in a flashback scene concerning the Mother Boxes or if it will be in the current, modern timeline.
Justice League explodes into theatres on November 17th, 2017.
