Injustice: Gods Among Us

Warner has announced that DC superhero brawler Injustice: Gods Among Us will be released on April 16th in North America and April 19th in Europe.

This is in line with an expected April release date for the NetherRealm-developed fighting game, which pits DC's heroes and villains against each other.

An image of the Collector's Edition was also released, which you can see below. It contains a statue of Batman and Wonder Woman locked in battle, DLC skins, a steelbook and the prequel comic. It will retail for £74.99 in the UK (99.99 euros) and $99.99 in the United States.

Separately, a Battle Edition will also be available for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Priced at $149.99, the Battle Edition will include an Injustice fight stick featuring art from the game, as well as three exclusive character skins for Wonder Woman, Superman and Batman based on the DC Comics New 52. According to WB, the fight stick "is a lightweight controller that boasts a non-skid foam underside, a lockout feature for the Start, Select and Guide buttons, as well as adjustable illumination for the buttons and joystick."
