Michael E. Uslan, the producer of every single Batman film since 1989 (which is a multi-billion-dollar franchise) was at Monmouth University in West Long Branch, NJ, to give a convocation speech and accept the world's first doctorate in the field of comic books. He taught the first college course on comics at Indiana University, wrote the first textbook, and accomplished another first. I had the opportunity to interview Dr. Uslan for our college radio station, and it was a blast! After the interview we geeked out a little bit and talked Bat stuff. We had a great time and I hope to meet him again one day...to get a job!
