I finally finished my first Lego building, The Old Wayne Tower from Batman.
It stands just over 18 1/2 inches tall, and is made of 304 blocks. I found most of the pieces in the colors I needed on Bricklink (Thanks to RNSrobot at TFW2005.com).
I hope to eventually build all of Anton Furst's Gotham in Legos.

Well, I finally got two more buildings made. I was going to debut them separately but one had the brick order delayed.
The first is the Kane Building.

Next is one that I call the Stilt Building.

Thanks!  :)
The Kane building was relatively easy, but the Stilt Building had to be be redesigned several times to get the proportions right.

In other words, how many times did you get pissed off and throw it? :P

There was nothing to throw. I design the buildings in Lego Digital Designer.
Once done, the program tells me what pieces to buy.
I felt like throwing my computer, though.  :P

Wow, I just stumbled upon this, but it'll be a blast to follow. Can't wait until you get to the major locations in the film (the Flugelheim Museum, Monarch Theater, Town Hall, Gotham Cathedral).

Also, where did you find the names of the buildings? Were those in Furst's sketches?
