I'd really be keen to read what other members' answers are to these various questions.  If you're not interested in visiting the link, here are the questions:

1. Why is the film set at Christmas?

2. So the Penguin's dad is played by Paul Reubens.  Does that mean Penguin's parents are Pee-Wee and Dottie post 'Pee-Wee's Big Adventure'?

3. Why does Oswald drool black liquid?  Is that connected to him being raised by penguins? (I didn't make up these questions)

4. Is Selina revived by cats?

5. If Selina was revived by cats does that mean she would have become, say 'Roach Woman' if a roaches had been swirling around her?

6. What is Christopher Walken doing in this movie?  And what is up with his hair?

7. Why didn't Bruce fire Alfred after he let Vicki Vale into the Batcave in the previous movie?

8. Does Batman really need a programmable Batarang?  And shouldn't the Batarang come with an anti-poodle fail-safe?

9. Did Batman really strap dynamite to a circus thug and smile maniacally?

10. Was Catwoman really planning to eat the Penguin's bird?

11. How did the Penguin get a copy of the blueprints to the Batmobile?

12. How did the Penguin make that awesome Batmobile videogame that somehow connects to the real Batmobile?

13. Why does Bruce's CD player have a Bat-logo on it?

14. Why does Selina have a sign that reads 'Hello There' in her apartment?

15. Why does Gotham employ a scantily-clad Ice Princess for what is ostensibly a family-friendly holiday tree-lighting ceremony?  And does she really think that the Batarang the Penguin stole is a camera?

16. Isn't it a little convenient that every society person in Gotham showed up to the "maxquerade" ball leaving their children at home to be kidnapped by Penguin?  Wouldn't they have babysitters and butlers?

17. So if Penguin's big plan all along was to get revenge on Gotham's wealthy elite by killing their children how did the rocket-toting penguins factor in?

18. Are penguins really the best delivery system for explosives?

19. Isn't Max's reverse power plant scheme still a problem?  Since Chip is still alive couldn't he drain all of Gotham's power for his own gain?

20. Isn't Batman still wanted in connection with the Ice Princess' death?

21. How is Catwoman's costume perfectly intact in the final shot?
Johnny Gobs got ripped and took a walk off a roof, alright? No big loss.

I'll only answer the sensible questions which relate to plot.

1. The juxtaposition of merry and lonely.
3. Likely in his genetic make-up, ala his webbed hands. He's not pure human.
4. No
7. Because BR isn't responsible for B89's 'sins', and Alfred is a lifelong friend despite it all.
8. A lot of plot hinges on that batarang.
9. Yes.
10. Hard to say, but she did get great enjoyment from it's sheer presence in her mouth.
11. Good question. We're not told. But we just have to know he did.
12. The product of an early draft where Bat merchandise was being sold in stores.
13. He's Batman, that's what he does. Why does he wear the logo on his chest?
14. Because there is no-one else to greet her upon coming home from work.
15. Because beauty overcomes everything, apparently, and yes, she did.
16. I'd like to think they didn't leave butler. The themes of child abandonment, ala Penguin.
17. It's his back-up plan. He couldn't drown the kids so he'll blow up everyone instead.
18. For the Penguin, yes. He trusts them because he considers them his babies.
19. If he really wants to keep the fight going. But it would remain a public one.
20. Yes, but his deeds of the finale, saving the kids, etc, have to amount to something.
21. Bruce isn't in his batsuit while in the car with Alfred. It's been patched up, time passed.
