Apparently there are rumours that Damian Wayne might make an appearance in the game.

So in other words, if Best Buy's verbiage is correct, we might be seeing a Red Dead Redemption ending. Already not too thrilled with this possibility. I will hold out to the end that Batman's not going to bite the big one. I think most agree (even Rocksteady) that the 'Dark Knight Rises' ending (yes Batman is dead) was pompous. Unless they really don't want Montreal to add to the mythology outside of prequels.

I heard about that. It was shot down as a mistake apparently, but we'll see. I don't want to see Batman die in any medium. Living and fighting on is both a victory and everlasting torture for him.

The first gameplay trailer has just been released.

And I still don't like the Tumbler-inspired Batmobile.

Anyway, apart from the Batmobile sequences, the gameplay seems to be more or less the same so far, but with obviously superior graphics.
QuoteJonathan Nolan: He [Batman] has this one rule, as the Joker says in The Dark Knight. But he does wind up breaking it. Does he break it in the third film?

Christopher Nolan: He breaks it in...

Jonathan Nolan: ...the first two.

The new game has been pushed back to 2015.

Hopefully Rocksteady learns from WB Games Montreal's mistakes and take the time to get rid of any game-breaking bugs.

Disappointing, but delays seem to be the go these days.

Anyway, I have a theory about the Arkham Knight.

It's a manifestation of Bruce's mind. It has been confirmed the AK is working with Scarecrow, and has his own gang. I think they're really Scarecrow's goons. Perhaps Scarecrow has conjured a powerful, realistic hallucinogen which really brings out Batman's fears?

It's not a new concept. In AA Batman thought Gordon was killed, etc.

Could be a twist in the spirit of Arkham Origins' Black Mask.

That Sounds like a fantastic theory. All things considered I'd say that's highly probable. I can imagine a scene toward the end where they replay events in the game showing what Batman thought he saw, and what actually happened. Would be every cool considering that they already sort of touched on that possibility when Batman was tracking down Hush in AC.

Apparently, the Red Hood is to be a pre order bonus, complete with 'story pack.' Interestingly enough, the picture of him looks as though it might be simply be an alternate skin for Arkham Knight?

I'd believe it, they've had those sorts of promos before, another one was the 'play as sinestro corps batman' promo with the Arkham City game which game with Green lantern blu ray. It was only an alternate skin. I'd expect at best it might be some alternate battle arenas.

New videos of the gameplay is up and running.

The combat in the first video is very identical of the action from the last three games but with superior graphics.

I'm sure that the enemy tanks that the Batmobile destroys are drones, right?

What's curious about the reaction to the Batmobile that I've seen on YouTube is that a number of people are getting fed up with the militaristic influence on Batman i.e. the car and the armored suit.

Latest trailer shows that Firefly is in the game.

The level of detail the developers put into the characters look better and better all the time. Scarecrow looks even more menacing than he did in Arkham Asylum.
