So this just got recommended to me on YT, and I have to say, this is without a doubt, the best fan project I have ever seen. I'm beyond impressed! The animation was slick, the voice acting was top notch, it had an original score that was great, the sound effects were amazing, etc. You guys have to check this out. I'm actually shocked by what I just watched. It was that good.

I'm floored.

So, Snyder just made a cryptic message on social media. It's a vid that says, "incoming message from Lord Darkseid. Save the date: April 28-30 2023".

So I guess we're going to hear something in April? Not sure what it means? If I had to guess, it would be an announcement of a comic or animated movie to tie up Snyder's story. But I don't know, I'm just throwing ideas around, but either way, it's VERY interesting.

Here's a teaser for project Justice League Ultimate Cut. It's a fan recreation of the rest of Snyder's story compiled from his storyboards. Fans put it together, and are coming out with this semi-animated project to showcase the rest of the story. Looks cool. It releases on Christmas day. Here's a trailer for it.

And this goes over it a little.

The Batman (2022) / The Batman SPOILER Thread!
Mon, 24 Jan 2022, 17:11
This is for all things spoilers. With the movie coming out soon, I know there's spoiler to be had, along with this thread to be free to those who have seen the movie around the release date. No need to white out your texts, just let it rip. The title is a clear indicator.

Looks like Bruce Timm, Matt Reeves and JJ Abrams are coming out with a new animated show on HBO Max. Sounds good except for the JJ part, but oh well. lol

He's got the longer ears here. Looks like Bob Kane's oldschool Batman design.

The Batman (2022) / Colin Farrell is Penguin
Sat, 9 Nov 2019, 16:57
I'm not sure if it's official, but he's been cast as The Penguin. What do you think? You think he's a good fit? Will he gain weight for the role, or are they going with a skinny Penguin like what we've seen in the Telltale Batman game and Gotham tv show?

I think it's interesting, but I'm not sold just yet.

Misc Comics / DC Digital sales
Thu, 5 Apr 2018, 18:25
I know some of you guys may not like the digital format, but it's been my go-to for a few years now, and DC puts up sales quite often. So I'll try to update when I see sales go live on the DC comics app.

So as of today, they have a Joker sale, with up to 80% off. Many great books. They have a lot of collections, like Under the Red Hood, TDKR, Joker, to really good single issues, as well. Most of the collections are around $5-$6, and the single issues are at $1. Check it out if you haven't already. Sale ends on 4/9/2018.

So now that the ball is rolling, who would you like to see in the new Batman movie?

I wanna see Clayface. I think it's time, and the technology is definitely there.

The Dark Knight (2008) / Batpod question?
Fri, 18 Jul 2014, 15:26
So I'm over at SHH, and I'm in one of the most ridiculous arguments I may have ever had for this movie. I'm being told that Bruce had the foresight to make the Batpod for The Tumbler AFTER he acquired it from Lucius. They're trying to tell me that it was never apart of the original design of The Tumbler. This all started, because someone brought it up, and I noted that it wasn't Bruce who made it, it was Lucius original team who made the prototype Tumbler. Their only proof, seems to be that Alfred calls it "the Batpod", so of course Bruce came up with the idea and then built it in.

What do you guys think, and does this make any sense? Why would that feature not be originally integrated within the design of The Tumbler?
